• Stay organized and prioritize.

• Complete all your assignments.

• Ask questions and seek help.

• Know the writing process.

• Study without distractions.

• Become an avid reader.

• Set realistic goals and work to the best of your ability.

• Come to school regularly, on time and prepared.

• If you are away, take the initiative to find out what you missed and get caught up.

• Set aside time each night for homework, studying and reviewing concepts learned that day.

• Do not leave assignments to the last minute.

• Always use the success criteria when you are completing assignments. 
• Make sure you have understood all of the materials that were taught in class.
